Many thanks to those who came out to see the group show CONTACT at Stay Gold Gallery this past October. It was a great show, and I was glad for the chance to show Earth and Burnt Earth, both completed in 2004. The other artists in the show were Maya Hayuk, JustinK, Gina Triplett, Ryan Wallace and Chris Yormick.
This May I will have new work in Animal Magazine. Animal shows works by artists that are made specifically for each issue, based on a theme. The theme for the May issue is Messengers, which in the hands of artists can be interpreted many different ways. The paintings I am making for the Magazine are a slight departure from my normal range of subject matter but the link is still there to what I am all about. I have actually wanted to do works like these for some time but did not because they were a bit out of my natural progression and working with the Messengers theme gave me new reason to do them. There will be release parties/ shows in New York and Paris the dates and locations of which are not yet confirmed and those will be posted on Squibart.com as soon as we get that information. Check the link to animalnewyork.com for more about Animal Magazine and related projects.

I have also been painting murals around the L.E.S., to go along with the ones I did in Brooklyn in 04, sponsored by Rheingold Beer.
